Work: Participants in the Colorado Range Rider Youth Corps program perform labor-intensive duties for communities and public land areas across the 16-county eastern Colorado Region. CorpsMembers meet at a central location at the beginning of their hitch, and are returned to that location at the end. Hitches are typically 4-5 days for summer crews, 10-11 days for spring and fall crews. |
| Serve: Work done by the CRR is chosen for it's community impact. From trail building, to noxious weed removal, CorpsMembers complete diverse work in the community development and conservation genres. Youth in past programs have cleaned wildlife areas, removed tamarisk and Russian olive, constructed trails and enhanced parks and worked to create better wildlife habitats. They've even picked up their share of trash at state parks and wildlife areas. |
