| The Colorado Range
Rider Youth Corps provides opportunities for eastern Colorado youth to
work, serve and learn in an outdoor environment, while providing
high-quality labor solutions for eastern Colorado communities and land
managers. Youth work in crews of eight with a supervisor. They complete conservation
and community development work for a variety entities. They complete
projects like trail building, park enhancements, and noxious weed removal,
while living and working as a group. Eligible CorpsMembers may also
earn an AmeriCorps Education Award.
CRRYC presently has two program-types available: 2008 Spring and Fall Weed Crews
